The art of finding special moments in ordinary places
I like to find and capture extraordinary moments in everyday places that we often forget, from small rocks to giant mountains, seas, clouds, or easily said nature under different weather conditions so that the people can pay attention to the all little things around us and reconnect with nature, with themselves.
Started my photography adventure back in 2005, in my hometown of Zaječar (Serbia). My father bought us a Samsung compact camera for family events, which was a spark, just big enough to start a fire in me later. After many trials, and errors, giving up, and returning to the world of photography I discovered that landscape photography is something I really enjoy. That moment outside, while absorbing the melody of a lake, river, or forest, slowing down and being one with nature is something special for me. It motivates me to go further, explore and travel. After so many years, today in my photos you will see nature from big mountains to small rocks under different conditions, textures and examples, let’s say in “special” moments that we usually don’t pay attention to at first glance or didn’t know were possible. I can freely say that photography is something really special for me, it “removes” problems, crowds, and chaos and allows me to be “free” and myself, to look at life from a different perspective. As a result, that brings you all these pictures in the gallery, to show how small moments are important and how often we underestimate them.
My serious phase of photography began in 2018. When I took a local photography course hosted by my good friend, and known actor in Niš, Davorin Dinić. His course was a fantastic starting point because I finally understood the basics and learned how to use photography tools. After many trials and errors, this website came out as an idea to express and share my work with people around the globe even better, outside of the world of social networks.
